New Owners Tony & Theresa Hutchins

Tony has worked in the electrical industry for over 20 years. After earning his Associate’s Degree in Industrial Electronics from Forsyth Tech he began his career with Salem Electric in 2001. He worked to get his experience and took the test to become a licensed electrician in 2010. In 2012, he became Lead Electrician and Maintenance Supervisor at Arbor Acres in

Winston-Salem overseeing large-scale electrical projects.
In 2019, he and Theresa moved to Swansboro, where he joined Olde Towne Electric as a Lead Electrician. His skill, leadership, and dedication led to his recent transition into ownership, ensuring the company continues its legacy of excellence.
Theresa is the Office Manager and Co-Owner of Olde Towne Electric and has years of office management experience. She oversees daily operations, scheduling, customer service, and finances; ensuring efficiency and top-notch client support. Her organizational skills are key to the company’s success.
Together, Tony and Theresa are committed to providing reliable, high-quality electrical services while fostering strong community relationships.

When not managing the business, they enjoy exploring the coastal beauty and spending time outdoors.
Under their leadership, Olde Towne Electric is set for a bright future, continuing to serve Carteret County with expertise and integrity.

Owners Ben & Jennifer Day

Retired 2024

Ben started his electrical career in 1982 in Newport News, VA where he worked toward and received his journeyman and Master electrician from Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School. He continued working on submarines and air craft carriers for several years before starting Olde Towne Electric. Ben, Jennifer and their daughter Jaclyn moved back home to Beaufort in 1997. After working a few months for another electrical contractor Ben decided to take a giant step and build Olde Towne Electric into a full time job.

Jennifer is the co-owner and office manager for Olde Towne Electric. She is also a graduate of Newport News Apprentice School as an Inside Machinist. She worked for four years as an electrician on board an aircraft carrier while going to school to obtain her Associate degree as a registered nurse.
